PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar apparatus and the like improving detection performance without excessively reducing the number of detectable arrival waves.SOLUTION: The radar apparatus includes: processing object matrix generating means that, when a rank of a signal correlation matrix is equal to or smaller by one than the number of input signals, performs FB (Forward/Backward) spatial average processing on the signal correlation matrix and generates a processing object matrix, when the rank is smaller by two or more than the number of input signals, performs spatial average processing and the FB spatial average processing on a plurality of partial correlation matrices generated by partial input signals extracted from the plurality of input signals and generates a processing object matrix; and arrival direction calculating means that performs signal processing on the processing object matrix generated by the processing object matrix generating means and calculates the arrival direction of the arrival wave. |
