PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate whether surface defects which may cause problems in using product are all removed by brushing.SOLUTION: A brushing evaluation method of determining whether defects which possibly separate from a product during the use of the product are all removed when the defects present on a surface of the product are removed by brushing includes steps for: computing a brush pressing force being a pressing force to a surface of a brushing region at a tip of a brush (S2); computing tangent-directional brush pressure parallel with a surface of the brushing region and normal-directional brush pressure perpendicular to the surface of the brushing region from the brush pressing force (S3); and determining that defects which may separate from the product during the use of the product area all removed when the tangent-directional brush pressure is higher than a determination value set to be higher than pressure acting on the surface of the brushing region during the use of the product and the normal-directional brush pressure is higher than the determination value (S4, S5). |
