PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model friction test method for clarifying tribology characteristics of general purpose engineering plastic.SOLUTION: An evaluation method of a surface high-order structure of a plastic material includes: measuring a wear amount of a plastic material by a metal material by a friction test by which the wear amount is measured by making a pair of test pieces slide on each other, where the test pieces consist of the metal material and the plastic material of which surface roughnesses are controlled; and evaluating a high-order structure of the surface of the plastic material on the basis of the value of the wear amount. The friction test is performed by a surface contact mode in which an end surface of a cylinder is pressed against a flat plate test piece. |
