PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an equipment state indication device which, by introducing a rotary operation body, makes it easy to set a temperature or select a menu.SOLUTION: A device for indicating an equipment state comprises: a liquid crystal display unit 2101 and a frame 2102 which supports the liquid crystal display unit 2101; a rotary operation body 2103 disposed on the top face of the liquid crystal; at least two magnet sensitive devices 2104 disposed on the top face of the frame; and N and S poles alternately arranged on the lower face periphery of the rotary operation body, with at least one magnetic material 2201-2208 placed face down. The rotary operation body 2103 is fixed on a substantially vertical axis relative to the liquid crystal surface or fixed to an axis having angular freedom within 30 degrees from the vertical direction, and the edge of the rotary operation body 2103 and the edge of the magnet sensitive device 2104 are disposed within a predetermined distance of 100 mm or less from a position at which they overlap in the vertical direction relative to the liquid crystal surface. |
