PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve latency at transaction communication.SOLUTION: A WAN high-speed device measures the size of burst data that is burst transmitted from a first device using a predetermined protocol in a transport layer. From a plurality of protocols used for the transport layer, the WAN high-speed device selects a protocol that operates according to algorithm having a small latency estimated from the measured burst data size and a network characteristic. The WAN high-speed device terminates burst data communication transmitted from the first device using the predetermined protocol, and transfers the burst data to a destination, using the selected protocol. |
