PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear noise preventing device for a manual transmission, capable of more securely preventing gear noise by sufficiently retaining operation hour and operation quantity.SOLUTION: A gear noise preventing device includes: a first turning portion 25 which axially moves along a shaft 21 when a shift select shaft 21 is selection-operated to a backward gear; a pre-balk cam 52 which turns by receiving a move power in an axial direction of the turning portion; a projection part 56 provided on the cam 52; a pre-balk pin 51 provided on the turning portion and engageable with the projection portion; a second turning portion 22 provided on the shaft 21 and to which a select operation of a shift lever is transmitted; and a protrusive portion 41 provided on a forward shift lug 40 to actuate a synchronizer, when the shaft 21 is selection-operated to the backward gear, by receiving torque of the cam 52 to shift a forward stage shift rail 33 axially. A spring 26 is wound around the first and second turning portions. |
