PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device capable of improving durability by suppressing heat generation in a circuit.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes: a first drive signal generation part 9A generating a first drive signal COM1 including a discharge pulse for discharging ink by driving a piezoelectric element 20 in a predetermined generation cycle; a second drive signal generation part 9B generating a second drive signal including a discharge pulse in a predetermined generation cycle; and a control part 6 selectively supplying the discharge pulse included in the first drive signal COM1 or the second drive signal COM2 to the piezoelectric element to control discharge of the ink, on the basis of pixel data SI for controlling discharge of the ink. In the control part, either one of the first drive signal or the second drive signal is selected with respect to each nozzle row and supplied to the piezoelectric element of the nozzle row based on the pixel data. |
