<p>PURPOSE: A spacer grid of a nuclear fuel assembly for a light water reactor is provided to maintain constant cooling performance even in the spacer grid of nuclear fuel rods. CONSTITUTION: A spacer grid of a nuclear fuel assembly for a light water reactor comprises partition plates (11) and connecting and supporting plates (12). The partition plates divide nuclear fuel rod insertion passages (10A) and surplus cooling water passages (10B). The connecting and supporting plates connect and support the partition plates to each other. The upper diameter of the nuclear fuel rod insertion passages is larger than the lower diameter (11B) thereof. Multiple cooling water inlets (13) are arranged in the partition plates.</p> |
