A member and a component assembly coupled to a sheet metal part by riveting and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to maintain a coupling force of the sheet metal part in a predetermined reference range. A member coupled to a sheet metal part comprises a shaft(14) and a head(16). The head has a ring recess(20) at a side facing the sheet metal part. The ring recess has a radial inner side connected to a cylinder section(21) of the head to be posed in a ring type contact surface(24,24') and a radial outer side connected to the ring type contact surface through a conical wall(23). The cylinder section is connected with the shaft and a tube type rivet section(22). A local recess(32) is formed on the wall and/or a ring type base surface(26) selectively existing on the ring recess. |
