PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus in which the throughput can be suppressed when converting the document format of a print document which is read, and to provide image processing system and program.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 70 includes an image object separation unit 80 for separating a print document that was read, for each image object, a page compaction state determination unit 82 for determining the page compaction state of the print document thus read, based on the arrangement of objects separated by the image object separation unit 80, a print direction determination unit 84 for determining the print direction of each page determined by the page compaction state determination unit 80, based on the features of the objects separated by the image object separation unit 80, and a document format conversion unit 86 for converting the document format of the print document thus read, based on the determination results of the page compaction state determination unit 82 and the print direction determination unit 84. |
