PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer for printing an image corresponding to printing data received from an external device, while preventing reduction in printing speed.SOLUTION: In printing a first copy, image data of a page which takes long time for decompression is preferentially stored in an image data storage part (S6 to S10).
