PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system that allows real-time transmission of information about the presence/absence of inverse load flow from a power measurement unit to a power conditioner without requiring a large change of a conventional circuit configuration.SOLUTION: A power generation system comprises: a power conditioner 2 that converts a DC power from a power generation section to a system-connected AC power and outputs the AC power; and a power measurement unit 11 to measure incoming power from the system. The power measurement unit 11 transmits data about the incoming power to the power conditioner 2 via a communication line. The power measurement unit determines the presence/absence of inverse load flow. A signal about the presence/absence of the inverse load flow is transmitted to the power conditioner 2 by using a communication line different from that for the data about the incoming power, or by multiplexing the signal over the data. |
