PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of detecting the re-connection of a battery even when an ignition switch is turned off.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device which is mounted on a vehicle and controls on-vehicle devices includes an IG detection means for detecting the on or off of an ignition switch, a connection detection means which, when detecting the connection of the battery, outputs a drive signal for driving a relay connected to the battery, and a control means which starts when a power is supplied thereto through the relay. The control means, when started, determines the on or off of the ignition switch, and when the ignition switch is turned off, determines that the battery is connected. |
