PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device for a wheel capable of improving sealing performance by preventing a foreign matter from infiltrating into a sliding part of a sealing device from between both connection surfaces where a vehicle fixing member and a flange part formed on an outer ring are connected.SOLUTION: A hub unit 1 includes: an outer ring 2 connected to a vehicle fixing member 10 at the vehicle inner side; an inner shaft 3 and an inner ring 4 connected to a wheel at the vehicle outer side; and a sealing device 7, which is fitted on the inner circumferential surface of the vehicle inner side end in the axial direction of the outer ring 2, has a sliding contact part 7d that slide-contacts on a slinger 7c, and seals the inner shaft 3 and the inner ring 4 and the outer ring 2 at the vehicle inner side. In this unit, the outer ring 2 has a knuckle fitting part 10b to which a knuckle 10 is fitted on the outer circumferential surface of the vehicle inner side end, and a flange part 2c which is formed protrusively outward in the radial direction from the vehicle outer side end of the knuckle fitting part 10b and fixed on the knuckles 10 at multiple portions in the circumferential direction. A rubber spacer 8 is interposed between both connection surfaces where the knuckle 10 and the flange part 2c are connected. |
