PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform liquid ejection head maintenance even if a capping mechanism is shifted from a capped state to an uncapped state when moisturized air is being supplied into an ejection space.SOLUTION: When a capping mechanism is restored to a capped state after being shifted from the capped state to an uncapped state during moisturized air supply to an ejection space by means of a moisturization pump driving, a printer controller implements control as follows. When a first uncapped time is shorter than a first predetermined time (S14: NO), the moisturization pump (S15) is driven to move moisturized air into the ejection space. In contrast, when the first uncapped time is equal to or longer than the first predetermined time (S14: YES), each portion is controlled such that discharge operations can be performed for liquid discharge from a plurality of discharge ports (S16). |
