PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of specifying a sample having high possibility of containing thrombus formation promoting anti-phospholipid antibody.SOLUTION: The screening method for specifying a sample having high possibility of containing thrombus formation promoting anti-phospholipid antibody includes a step (a) for mixing a sample from a patient with a reagent containing blood platelets to obtain an assay mixture, a step (b) for adding a platelet activator to the assay mixture, and a step (c) for measuring platelet aggregation in the assay mixture. In the screening method, increase of the platelet aggregation exceeding a normal value indicates existence of the thrombus formation promoting anti-phospholipid antibody in the sample of the patient. |
