PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for a hybrid system, capable of preventing water or foreign objects from entering a motor chamber housing a motor.SOLUTION: A power transmission device 10 includes an oil-cooled motor 18 having a rotary shaft 15 as an output shaft to which the output of an engine 11 is transmitted, a transmission 21 to which power is transmitted from the rotary shaft 15, and a housing 23 having a rear retainer 66 formed between a motor chamber 26 for housing the motor 18 and a transmission chamber 67 for housing the transmission 21. In the bottom part of the transmission housing 65 for housing the transmission 21, a drain hole 75 is formed to open the transmission chamber 67 to atmosphere. In the rear retainer 66, a communication hole 76 is formed to allow the motor chamber 26 to communicate with the transmission chamber 67, and an air breather 78 is attached to filter air flowing through the communication hole 76. |
