PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hyaluronic acid-coated powder excellent in moisture retainability, adhesivity and anti-aging effect using hyaluronic acid, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a cosmetic excellent in moisturizing effect, touch feeling, adhesivity to/affinity for the skin, makeup film uniformity and makeup sustainability-improving effect through compounding the powder.SOLUTION: A hyaluronic acid-coated powder is obtained by coating the surface of powder with hyaluronic acid or its salt, one of glycosaminoglycan, as a linkage of disaccharide units each consisting of N-acetylglucosamine and glucuronic acid. Specifically, the hyaluronic acid-coated powder is produced by dispersing the powder in a hyaluronic acid solution into a viscous slurry, freeze drying the slurry, and then grinding or by spray drying the resulting material. The objective cosmetic is obtained by compounding the hyaluronic acid-coated powder in a cosmetic. |
