PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control unauthorized use of contents under management of an end user.SOLUTION: A content use control apparatus comprises a function for registering/confirming a device or a user of a provision destination in order to prevent a service from being used in an unlimited manner from any other device or user than the proper provision destination when providing the service, and further comprises a function for restricting rewrite of registered contents. By giving these restrictions, copyright protection of information to be served is implemented. An embodiment of the device is a server holding movie or music contents and is applied to a system for supplying contents in response to a request from a client (TV or PC connected to a mobile phone or the server) or a user. |
