PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bulk of spheroidal polyester particles in specific physical and geometrical configuration.SOLUTION: A bulk of spheroidal polyester particles has (a) an It.V. of at least 0.72 dL/g, (b) (i) at least two melting peaks having a low peak melting point having a peak temperature of 140-220°C and a melting endothermic area of the absolute value of at least 1 J/g, or (ii) at least one melting point having a heating curve which separates from the base line in the endothermic direction at a temperature of 200°C or less, and/or (c) a degree of crystallinity of 45% or less. The polyester includes 20 mol% or less of carboxylic acid residues other than terephthalic acid residues relative to 100 mol% of the carboxylic acid residues, and the polyester includes at least 4 mol% of 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol residues and 20 mol% or less of a hydroxy functional compound residues other than ethylene glycol relative to 100 mol% of the hydroxyfunctional compound. The polyester particles are not subjected to solid-phase polymerization, and a repose angle is 34° or less. |
