PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot milling cutter.SOLUTION: A slot milling cutter includes a cutting head (1) and a joint (3) integrated with the cutting head. The joint is structured to receive a tool coupling, and the cutting head (1) has at least two insert seats (5) and cutting inserts (7) mounted on the insert seats (5). In the cutting inserts, the insert seats (5) are provided with first serrations (4). The cutting inserts (7) are provided with second serrations (11) disposed on at least one main surface. The first and second serrations (4, 11) extend in an axial direction (C-C) of the slot milling cutter. Stability of the cutting inserts (7) is provided in a radial direction of the slot milling cutter through cooperation between the first and second serrations (4, 11). |
