PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tires and a pneumatic tire that are capable of satisfying both a low fuel consumption and a good elongation at break.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for tires comprises isoprene-based rubber, sulfur and a coumarone-indene resin having a softening point of -20 to 45°C, wherein the coumarone-indene resin is contained in an amount of 0.5-20 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. |
