PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the energy consumption, and to elongate a lifetime of a light source when liquid hardened by ultraviolet rays is discharged and the ultraviolet rays are radiated to the liquid to harden it.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes: a liquid discharge part for discharging liquid hardened by ultraviolet rays; and an irradiation part for hardening the liquid by radiating the ultraviolet rays. The liquid discharge part can perform the liquid discharge of a first discharge amount and the liquid discharge of a second discharge amount larger than the first discharge amount. The radiation part can perform radiation by a first radiation amount for hardening a liquid of the first discharge amount and irradiation by a second radiation amount for hardening a liquid of the second discharge amount. The second irradiation amount is smaller than the first irradiation amount. |
