PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation that is excellent in stability, free from a sticky feeling and excellent in a dry and smooth feeling and yet exhibits excellent skin-ageing-preventing effects such as the effect of ameliorating rough skin, the effect of preventing and ameliorating wrinkles, th effect of imparting tightness to the skin, and the effect of conditioning skin texture and preventing spots to impart a transparent feeling and bright appearances to the skin.SOLUTION: A skin care preparation includes (a) 1-20 mass% of a paraffin mixture including a 12-16C isoparaffin and having a boiling point range of 185-215°C, and less than 10 mass% of a 2,2,4,6,6-pentamethylheptane; (b) 2-15 mass% of a 4-8C dihydric alcohol; (c) 0.0001-0.2 mass% of a polyphenol; and (d) 0.1-2 mass% of a chelating agent. |
