摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a hybrid vehicle capable of calculating practically necessary power quantity each time when matching the number of rotation required for switching speed change gears, and effectively controlling remained capacity of a storage cell by determining surplus power quantity to be saved in the storage cell on the basis of the calculated power quantity.SOLUTION: In a control device for a hybrid vehicle including a transmission having an input shaft connected with a rotary shaft of an electric motor, a minimum speed change gear capable of taking from present vehicular speed is calculated on the basis of a relationship between a predetermined vehicle speed and the speed change gear, and the time required for matching the number of rotation on speed change to the minimum speed change gear is calculated on the basis of driving conditions of the vehicle. The power quantity for speed change required for the electric motor in order to change speed to the minimum speed change gear is calculated from the time required for a difference of the number of rotation between a present input shaft and a present output shaft and matching the number of rotation, and driving of the vehicle is performed with the electric motor while the power quantity for speed change as a surplus quantity of the storage cell is always left as surplus power quantity.
