PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a system and a computer program product for detecting sensitivity decline of an analyte sensor in real time in a continuous glucose monitoring system.SOLUTION: A plurality of analyte sensor related signals are received, a probability of signal attenuation associated with the plurality of analyte sensor related signals is determined, the presence of the signal attenuation is verified when the determined probability exceeds a prescribed threshold level, and an output signal associated with the verification of the presence of the signal attenuation is generated. |
