PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitting device which is free of losses in the transmission power of a transmitted signal and does not cause interferences between directional beams, and a transmission/reception method.SOLUTION: The transmitting device comprises: incoming direction estimation means for estimating the arrival angle of a transmit signal from a distant communication device; interference estimation means for calculating variables necessary to estimate an interference between a transmission beam transmitting to one distant communication device and a transmission beam transmitting to other distant communication devices on the basis of the estimated arrival angle; interference elimination means for eliminating the interference from a transmit signal to be transmitted to distant communication devices on the basis of the calculated variables necessary to estimate an interference; and beam formation means for forming a transmission beam having directivity from a transmit signal which has had the interference removed therefrom on the basis of the estimated arrival angle. The priority of processing in which order interferences are removed from a transmit signal to be transmitted to distant communication devices is based on the amount of a change in the estimated arrival angle of transmit signals from distant communication devices. |
