PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition and a method which improves bioavailability of 5, 5-diphenyl barbituric acid to a central nervous system of a mammal requiring treatment for neurological conditions, and brain delivery thereof.SOLUTION: A 5, 5-diphenyl barbituric acid is turned to sodium, potassium or lithium salt to prepare an oral dosage form. The oral dosage form takes a form of solid or suspension liquid.
