PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing processing method for cesium contaminated soil which has a cleaning effect and is capable of reducing volume of a residue containing cesium generated by scrubbing processing and lowering a disposal cost.SOLUTION: A washing processing method for cesium contaminated soil which separates and eliminates cesium from a contaminated soil G0 includes: a classification processing step 1 of adding water to the contaminated soil G0 contaminated by cesium, performing wet sieving classification processing to separate a coarse particle component G2 from slurry-like sediment G1 and further performing classfication processing of the latter into a sand component S1 and a fine particle component S2; a surface processing step 2 of adding an acid 7 to the sand component S1 after the classification processing and embrittling the surfaces of soil particles of the sand component S1; and a scrubbing step 3 of performing scrubbing processing, by stirring, on surface layer parts of a sand component S3 after the surface processing, and of scraping off and detaching them. |
