PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a steel pipe sheet pile foundation such that a steel pipe sheet pile provided with a male joint and a female joint of H steel as joints is used as a steel pipe sheet pile to have larger joint strength than a conventional steel sheet pile, and thereby exhibits cutoff effects by a sealed space to reduce water contamination due to cutoff construction and have larger economical effects as environmental measures, and further neither underwater cutoff nor underwater cutting operation for the steel pipe sheet pile is required to effectively use the steel pipe sheet pile without waste.SOLUTION: A construction device is used which includes a chuck board 21 provided with a plurality of chucks below a vibration exciter 20 and in which the vibration exciter 20 and the chuck board 21 are connected while separated by a predetermined length through a column body 23 for tongs. The vibration exciter 20 is positioned on a water surface, and the chuck board 21 is pressed down into the water by the length of the column body 23 for tongs to drive the steel pipe sheet pile by lowering an upper end 24 of the steel pipe sheet pile to nearby an underwater bottom foundation. |
