PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a wrap offset as to suppress increase in a compressor outer diameter is not considered particularly in the prior arts, in a scroll compressor of an axially penetrated structure including a bearing part in a wrap center part of a turning scroll.SOLUTION: A scroll compressor includes: a fixed scroll with which an eddy wrap is erected on a base plate; a turning scroll with which an eddy wrap is erected on a panel and which is engaged with the fixed scroll to form a compression chamber; and a turning bearing which is provided while penetrating the panel of the turning scroll and a wrap center part. Within a range where the turning bearing can be formed in the wrap center part, the wrap center is offset from a panel center in a direction where a longer shortest distance of either a shortest distance between a wrap rolling end part of the turning scroll and an outer circumference of the panel or a shortest distance between an outermost circumferential part of the wrap and the outer circumference of the panel in an substantially 90° direction from a direction of the shortest distance with the panel center as a criterion becomes a closest distance. |
