PURPOSE: A socket for testing electric parts capable of inspecting the electric parts is provided with low manufacturing cost by assembling the same parts with different positions according to the locations of a connector and board. CONSTITUTION: A socket for testing electric parts comprises a board (10) connected to test equipment. The socket comprises first and second contact blocks (130a, 130b), first and second spacers (140a, 140b), a base (150), a cover, and an operating unit. The first and second contact blocks grab a plurality of contact pins in contact with a connector. The first and second spacers maintain the clearances between the contact pins. The base is inserted into the first and second blocks, and closely attached to one side of the board. The cover electrically connects the board to the connector. The operating unit operates the cover or base to separate the cover from the other side of the base. |
