Nodes (10) configure an ad hoc network in which a reactive path-construction scheme is used. The nodes (10) are each provided with a frame receiver (11), a frame-selection unit (12), and a frame-forwarding control unit (13). The frame receiver (11) receives route-search-request frames having quality information for all the routes through which the route-search-request frames have been forwarded. The frame-selection unit (12) selects, from among the route-search-request frames received by the frame receiver (11) via a plurality of routes, a route-search-request frame to be forwarded to another node, on the basis of the quality information. The frame-forwarding control unit (13) forwards, to the other node, the route-search-request frame selected by the frame-selection unit (12), and, in cases when the quality indicated by the quality information for the route-search-request frame is below a prescribed reference value, discards the route-search-request frame. |
