A water server whereby the side peripheral walls (33) of mounted raw water containers (30) do not protrude to the rear of a front tip section (12a), and there is no risk of the adhesion between a puncturing section (23) and a container port (31) loosening and water leaking, is achieved as a result of: the provision on a sliding bench (20) of a container holder (25) restricting the side peripheral walls (33) of the mounted raw water containers; and the setting of the minimum height (H1) and shape of the container holder (25) such that the side peripheral walls (33) of the used raw water containers (30) fit inside the container holder (25), without the side peripheral walls (33) of the shrinking raw water containers (30) catching and lifting the raw water containers (30). In addition, the height that the raw water containers are lifted up during replacement has been reduced, by setting the minimum height (H1) to no more than that of the side peripheral walls (33) of the raw water containers (30) when the initial pumping in of water started. |
