<p>A cutting insert according to one embodiment of the present invention has a convex part on a top surface thereof, the convex part having a main part which has a flat top-end surface, a first protruding part protruding from the main part toward a corner part of the top surface, a second protruding part protruding from the first protruding part toward the corner part, and a third protruding part protruding from the second protruding part toward the corner part. The top-end height of each of the second protruding part and the third protruding part is constant toward the corner parts. The first protruding part and the second protruding part are connected by a first wall surface, which is a flat inclined surface, the second protruding part and the third protruding part are connected by a second wall surface having a convex curved shape, and a breaker groove and a distal end of the third protruding part are connected by a third wall surface having a convex curved shape.</p> |
