<p>PURPOSE: User terminal and screen display method of the user terminal are provided to process a landscape view screen by editing a layout to sufficiently utilize a display region with width extended. CONSTITUTION: A display unit (10) displays a screen by classifying a landscape view state and a portrait view state. A control unit (12) understands layout information including type and structure of a graphic object forming a layout. The control unit edits a layout based on the understood layout information when converting between the landscape view state and the portrait view state. The layout includes size, location and configuration of a graphic object displayed on a screen of the display unit.
