PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a light loss by increasing the reflectivity and reflection width of a DBR(Distributed Bragg Reflector) through the DBR including an air layer. CONSTITUTION: A DBR layer(200) is formed on a substrate(100). The DBR layer includes a first refractive layer(200a), a second refractive layer(200b), and an air layer(200c). An n type clad layer(300), an active layer(400), a p type clad layer(500), and a p type window layer(600) are successively formed on the DBR layer. A p type electrode(700) is formed on the upper side of the p type window layer. An n type electrode(800) is formed on the lower side of the substrate. |
