PURPOSE: A data transmission method between an application and a robot on a smart device, and a device and system thereof are provided to execute various applications while maintaining communications connection between a smart device and a robot. CONSTITUTION: A communications management part (310) establishes wired/wireless communications with a robot. A robot connection part (324) prepares for data transmission with the robot based on the wired/wireless communications. An application connection part (322) prepares for data transmission with an application in response to an execution command for the application. A data relay part (330) relays data between the application and the robot. The wired/wireless communications with the robot is maintained even after the application is terminated.
