<p>A method is provided for a mobile device to obtain an image from an external camera. The mobile device obtains synchronization data from a server. When a user sees an image that he or she would like to capture using the external camera, the user hits or selects a button or key on the mobile device, designated for selecting an image, to take a picture of the image. The mobile device receives a user input to indicate the image desired to be obtained. The mobile device generates a time stamp marking when the user input was received. The time stamp is generated using the synchronization data, it then sends an image request to the server, which includes the time stamp. The server, which stores the images from the external camera, sends the requested image to the mobile device.</p> |
