<p>The present invention relates to a method for scoring the simultaneous presence of multiple parameters at a single cell level, comprising the steps consisting in: - sampling cells of interest, hereafter "cell subsets"; - binary assessing for said cell subsets one or more linearly quantitative cellular biological functions xi, hereafter "parameters", analyzed at the single- cell level, therefore obtaining data for a number n of parameters for each cell subset; wherein said parameters xi are defined as binary variables; - assessing a frequency (ii) of cell within said cell within said cell subset featuring the combination of parameters (iii); - defining a weighting value (iv). specific for each and every (v); - obtaining a polyfunctionality index by applying the following formula : Novel Polyfunctionality Index (NPI) = (1)</p> |
