Provided is an ultrasonographic inspection device provided with: a reference setting unit for setting a referencing pertaining to an afflicted part on the basis of diagnostic information corresponding to an inspection subject; a position specification unit for specifying a position for inspection by sound waves generated by a probe able to generate sound waves, in the inspection subject; and a notification control unit for producing a notification pertaining to the importance of inspection at the specified inspection position, on the basis of the set reference and the specified inspection position.
