An objective of the present invention is to analyze document information which is collected and digitized for presentation as evidence in litigation, and to classify same to be easier to use in said litigation. A document classification system comprises: an extraction unit which extracts a prescribed number of documents from collected document information; a document display unit which displays the extracted document group; a classification coding receiving unit which receives a classification coding which a user has applied to the displayed document group on the basis of a relation with the litigation; a selection unit which, on the basis of the classification coding, classifies the extracted document group for each classification coding, and analyzes and selects keywords which appear common to the classified document group; a database which records the selected keywords; a search unit which searches the document information for the keywords which are recorded in the database; a score computation unit which uses the search results of the search unit and the analysis results of the selection unit to compute a score which denotes the relation between the classification coding and the document; and an automated classification unit which automatically applies the classification coding on the basis of the results of the scoring. |
