In order to speed-up the encryption process of software (a programme): an information processing device comprises a data processing unit for executing data processing in accordance with a programme defining an encryption process sequence, and said data processing unit: generates bit slice expression data based on a plurality of items of plain text data which are to be encrypted and a bit slice expression key based on the encryption key for each item of plain text data; generates a whitening key and a round key on the basis of the bit slice expression key; executes a process in accordance with encryption algorithm Piccolo, the process being an encryption process including operations on block units of the bit slice expression data, migration processing, and operations using the round key; and generates a plurality of encrypted data items corresponding to the plurality of plain text data items by means of a reverse data conversion on the result of the encryption process.
