An access device (150) provided with: a memory (103); a first controller (107) for delivering and accepting, via a communication line (106), a data control right, which is an exclusive right for executing either a read or a write of data stored in the memory (103); and a second controller (105) for either acquiring or releasing the data control right in accordance with an instruction from the first controller (107), and, while retaining the data control right, writing to the memory (103) data transferred from a data recording device (201). The first controller (107), upon receiving a data transfer suspend request while data is being transferred from the data recording device (201), causes the second controller (105) to release the data control right, and when it has been decided that an inconsistency has occurred in the data management information with respect to the data recording device (201), returns the data control right to the second controller (105), and the second controller (105) cancels the management information inconsistency in accordance with the returned data control right, and releases the data control right. |
