<p>An X-ray irradiation unit (3) is provided with: an X-ray tube (6) for generating X-rays; an operating life detection circuit (15b) for detecting the operating life of the X-ray tube (6); and a display circuit (15c) for externally indicating the fact that the operating life has been detected by the operating life detection circuit (15b). The operating life detection circuit (15b) has an output unit (32c) that supplies power to the display circuit when the operating life has been detected. The display circuit (15c) has: an operating life indicating LED (9) that emits light due to power supplied by the output unit (32c); and a capacitor (28) that is connected in parallel to the operating life indicating LED (9), and receives and stores power supplied by the output unit (32c). When the power supply of the X-ray irradiation unit (3) is turned off, the operating life indicating LED (9) continues emitting light due to the power stored in the capacitor (28), thus allowing the operating life of the X-ray tube (6) to be reliably reported.</p> |
