THERMAL COMFORT BASED LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A thermal comfort based light control system and method are provided to compensate for the thermal comfort of an occupant through the control of an active light temperature by analyzing the comfort of the occupant. CONSTITUTION: A thermal comfort based light control device comprises a position recognition module, a calculation module, a measurement module, a control module and a color temperature control module. The position recognition module picks out the location information of an occupant. The calculation module calculates the predicted mean vote of the occupant. The measurement module uses an illuminance sensor and measures indoor illumination. The control module transmits control command to a lighting apparatus based on the measured indoor illumination, the calculated predicted mean vote and the position of the occupant. The control module controls the color temperature of the lighting apparatus in accordance with the control command. The lighting apparatus includes one or more LEDs according to one or more colors.
