Provided are: a monoclonal antibody which is mentioned in item (A) below and can bind specifically to lipoarabinomannan in an acid-fast bacterium, particularly a tuberculosis bacterium; and use applications of the monoclonal antibody. (A) A monoclonal antibody which comprises a heavy-chain variable region containing heavy-chain CDR1 to heavy-chain CDR3 respectively mentioned in items (a) to (c) below and a light-chain variable region containing light-chain CDR1 to light-chain CDR3 respectively mentioned in items (d) to (f) shown below, wherein the heavy-chain variable region and the light-chain variable region are linked to each other through a linker: (a) heavy-chain CDR1 comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1; (b) heavy-chain CDR2 comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2; (c) heavy-chain CDR3 comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 3; (d) light-chain CDR1 comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 4; (e) light-chain CDR2 comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 5; and (f) light-chain CDR3 comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 6.
