PURPOSE: A battery cell and a battery module including the same are provided to minimize damages transferred to a welding unit between electrode leads and an electrode tap of the battery cell. CONSTITUTION: A battery cell comprises an electrode assembly in which a plurality of electrode successively laminated. An electrode lead for contacting with external devices is welded at end parts of a plurality of electrode taps protruded from electrode plates. In the electrode lead, ultrasonic damping parts(316), which can absorb and buffer the ultrasonic energy when the electrode lead is ultrasonic welded, are formed between a weld part(312) located between electrode taps and the electrode lead and a lead connection unit(314) of the exterior device and the electrode lead. |
