PURPOSE: A load bearing softening test device is provided to prevent a gas leakage, thereby accurately measuring a melting point and a softening point of a sample. CONSTITUTION: A load bearing softening test device includes a device body and a crucible (130). The device body includes a reaction pipe (110) simulating a furnace; and an electric furnace (120) heating the reaction pipe. The crucible is arranged inside the reaction pipe. A sample and coke are inserted into the crucible, and gas is supplied to and discharged from the crucible. The crucible covers a cylindrical body and the top surface and the underside of the cylindrical body respectively. The crucible includes an upper plate and lower pate in which a plurality of holes is formed. The lower plate and the cylindrical body are formed to be integrated so that a gas leakage through a gap between the lower plate and the cylindrical body is prevented. The device body includes a lower supporting pipe (111) supporting the reaction pipe upwardly; and a crucible supporting unit (131) connecting the crucible and the lower supporting pipe inside the reaction pipe.
