A flow rate measuring device configured without the use of a conduit section in order to fundamentally solve the problems caused by the presence of the conduit section. A flow rate measuring device configured in such a manner that a flow restriction mechanism (3) is provided to the intermediate section of a piping member (1) and that the flow rate of fluid is measured on the basis of the pressures measured by pressure sensors (2) provided on the upstream side and the downstream side of the flow restriction mechanism. Thin walled portions (11a) are formed in the outer surfaces of required portions of the outer wall (11) of the piping member (1) so that projecting and retracting sections (6), which project and retract due to elastic deformation of the thin walled portions (11a) caused by a variation in the pressure of the fluid, are formed on the upstream side and the downstream side of the flow restriction mechanism (3). The pressure sensing surfaces of the pressure sensors (2) are adapted to be in contact with the outer surfaces of the projecting and retracting sections (6). |
